Fleur Cardinale 2011

2011 was a tricky vintage for reds and whites in Bordeaux wheras the sweet wines were excellent. Selection both in the vinyard and the winery was critical. However with skilled and carfeul management, some wines like Fleur Cardinale achived abeautiful resluts.

"Good concentration and depth in this plummy wine laced with spices and cedar notes. The tannins are ripe and opulent with nice depth of fruit. Not particularly long but balanced and the wine has the ability to age for a decade or two. Tasted in: Bordeaux, France." Jeannine Cho Lee MW.
