Tasting Note
Château George 7 Blanc 2022 is bursting with aromas mingling fresh fruit, bergamot and hints of vanilla. It has lovely balance on the tongue bringing freshness and intense aromatic flavours including ripe yellow peach. It has a long mouthwatering finish, rather like a warm croissant!

Enjoy as an apéritif and with several seasonal dishes such as a fresh prawn Thai salad, poached sea bass or grilled asparagus with parmesan. It pairs beautifully with creamy goats cheese too.

"Richly textured, showing clearly more apricot and stone fruit flavours than the excellently fresh 2021 vintage, but it retains grip and interest from the saline and saffron touches on the finish and it's one to look out for. Fermented in Burgundy barrels on the lees for 6 months."

"Immensely drinkable and enjoyable with a richness to the texture and fruit concentration with peach, apricot and soft herbal-edged citrus elements. This has a nice persistence from start to finish with intensity of flavour and a lightness of touch as well as salty mineral elements that provide nuance and terroir markers. A lovely white in 2022.... worth seeking out."
