Aromas of ripe red fruits, practically in compote with notes of fresh baked bread as well as balsamic hints. Intense and fruity at the same time, with notes of blackberry and spices and well-structured hints of wood. Big wine with plenty notes of dattes. tannins ripe and some rippening, stony touches.
This winery has been the first one to be recognised by R.Parker (the specific wine Janus) as one of the best of Ribera del Duero. Since then, Ribera del Duero gained a DO in 1982 and more over wold recognition.
